Spring Youth Sailing Class!
For Children and Teens ages 10- 15
Learn to sail this spring with the MYC Youth Sailing Class. Participants learn to rig, tack, gybe, and more! Beginning and experienced sailors welcome.
Cost: $250 for GUAM/MILITARY/CNMI / $125 Members
Pre-requisites: Participants must be able to pass a swim test on the first day.
Dates/Times: Six week course held each Saturday beginning April 17th and ending May 29nd.
Classes are held from 9am - 3pm each day.
Parents pick up your sailor no later than 4:00PM.
Location: Marianas Yacht Club, Sasa Bay, Piti
Boats: Optimists for children and Lasers for teenagers!
Enrollment: Limited to 10 participants

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
LEAD INSTRUCTOR STEPHANIE CLANCY-ANDERSON
Coach Stephanieis a U.S. Sail Certified Level One Instructor. Stephanie started out sailing Optimists at a very young age and has been sailing ever since. Stephanie is a U.S. Sailing Level 1 Instructor
INSTRUCTOR CHARLIE MORRIS
Coach Charlie is from Manhasset, NY, a suburb of New York City. He grew up sailing optis from age 8-13 before switching to C420 and a variety of larger boats. At age 15, Charlie became a certified U.S. Sailing Level 1 Instructor and began coaching kids ranging from ages 8-13 at a local yacht club.
Five years ago, Charlie graduated the U.S. Naval academy where he sailed on the Varsity Offshore Sailing Team. He currently serves as a submarine officer on the USS Key West.
