Labor Day Monday: Time to Celebrate at the Beach and Club! Noon - 6pm!

Time to celebrate at the beach and club on Labor Day from Noon to 6pm.

It is a day to sail, enjoy beach games, bring your potluck dishes and beverage, throw meat on the grill! The club has some games to provide, but bring your own if you want. We will provide the charcoal, water cooler with water/gatorade.

ASLO: It is time to thank Todd and Therese Geyer for the labor of loving contribution to the MYC these past two years. Todd and Therese are headed to Newport RI in the next two weeks.

Under Todd's enthusiasm and hours of detailed repair, the old beached O'Day Daysailor rose like a phoenix and was christened "Mariana". She may look a little unsual with her rescued Hobie mast and sail, but n' spite of her centerboard, she moves like a cat! If the winds are right, give her a spin on Monday.

Ever active, Todd put order into the storage lockers and engaged others in digging out and organizing what was affectionately known as Bob's Man Cave into an organized work and repair shop for MYC. Though he emulates the Energizer Bunny, it is opportune to wind him down to "no labor" on Monday.
